SAIKEN PUMPS offers Bitumen Jacketed Gear Pumps , Bitumen Transfer Gear Pumps , Jacketed Gear Pumps is a jacketed type foot mounted rotary gear pump. This model are specially designed for Bitumen.
This model should be selected for liquid which tend to solidify at room temperature, because it have jacketing construction to facilitate the heating of the pump by steam or thermic fluid. This pump are designed to run at 960 to 1400 RPM.

The material of jacketed gear pump housing is carbon steel / stainless steel. And the gears, axles and bushing adopt alloy steel. It applies to deliver non-corrosive heavy oil
and bitumen without solid particles at temperature within 400 ℃.
The Pump and the liquid could be heated, preserved heat and cooled with conduction oil, steam, hot-water, cold water or other mediums.
Pump may be equipped with gear box reducer for high viscosity liquid more than 1500c.s.t.
